The purpose of each of our socials is to provide enjoyable recreation-based events to enhance membership, networking, and to attract new members.
We encourage various communities in the south west area to host a SWARG event. The revenue generated is used to support the student Bursaries that are awarded each year. Hosting a social event assists us in increasing our membership and fosters the interaction between members that is supportive and beneficial within our organization.
This program is being offered in partnership with the Health Kids Community Challenge, City of Windsor and Town of Essex and instructed by Andrea Docherty Nutrition – Registered Dietitian.
This program is great for any family, you will learn as a family how to prepare healthy and affordable meal options together. The workshop will end with 3 take-home meals prepared and ready to eat! The cost of this program is $20 for 1 adult and up to 2 children. This program will be offered to SWARG members only until Saturday, November 25, 2017 where we will be opening registration to the public. We encourage you to register early to guarantee your spot, as we believe it will sell out quickly.
